The new Pierre Cardin frames produced by Safilo celebrate the designer’s genius with a fresh take on Monsieur Cardin’s favourite model, in use since the 1960s.
Available with corrective lenses, these elegant, timeless glasses are inspired by the great classics and refined style of the couturier. Their modern, sleek design enhances one’s facial features thanks to a carefully developed ergonomic shape. The clear-cut acetate frame comes in a variety of refined shades: glossy black, opaque black, dark Havana and Havana green – the designer’s iconic colour. The fine finishes, the logo plate hand-applied to the arms – bearing the inscription “special edition” – and the living hinge, which lends a linear touch to the profile of the glasses, encapsulate the very essence of Cardin’s style.
Glasses from the “Re-edit” capsule collection by Pierre Cardin, produced by Safilo – here in the glossy black version. Reflected in the lenses are the women’s oversized sunglasses model, with an acetate frame: a contemporary take on the distinctive style of the Sixties.
